During the week of 10 March 2008, Sam was a VIP guest at the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Children's Miracle Network at Disney World, Orlando, Florida, USA.  Children’s Miracle Network began as a small, televised fund raiser in a small studio in 1983. Marie Osmond and John Schneider co-founded the effort along with a small-dedicated team of 20 children’s hospitals, 20 television stations, six sponsors and a handful of national staff.
